Penguin Galaxy Series Cover Design
With this project, I designed scifi bookcovers for the Penguin Galaxy Series. I used similar graphic elements of shape and lines across the series. Stranger in a Strange Land mentions telepathy and telekensis, which is shown through molecular structures. Neuromancer is about AI that runs every byte of data in cyberspace and runs it as RAM. This idea is conveyed through computer RAM imagery. Dune mentions a desert planet that has a drug called spice– powerful enough to extend life and space travel faster than light. I convey the dune planet through topographic imagery, indicating high and low points. The spice drug is displayed through an arbitrary molecular structure.
