Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels (YMOW)
Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels (YMOW) provides vital support to homebound elderly by delivering warm meals and companionship on weekdays. Additionally, YMOW’s Personal Care Pantry offers essential non-food items such as grooming supplies and medical equipment, sourced from local contributions. This service helps alleviate financial burdens for seniors with limited incomes, delivering alongside meals up to twice weekly.
YMOW, housed at my childhood church, First Baptist Ypsilanti, holds a special place for me. In middle school, I had the opportunity to design the logo for their Personal Care Pantry, which remains featured on their website and at the pantry within FBY. This experience was pivotal in my early exploration of a career in Graphic Design.
